Getting to Know Garrett Langrell
- For all three seasons at EKU, he earned ASUN Conference Honor Roll.
- In his first season, Langrell made nine appearances out of the bullpen, throwing for 10 innings with a 2.70 ERA, before suffering a season-ending injury.Â
- As a junior, he did not play in any games due to an injury.Â
- During the 2024 season, Langrell played in 20 games where he went 1-1 with four saves, posted a 4.84 ERA across 22.3 innings and struck out 15 batters.
- He ranked seventh in the Atlantic Sun Conference with four saves.Â

- Langrell earned Academic All-MACC recognition during both seasons, and All-MACCÂ First Team honors.Â
- During a shortened 2020 season, Langrell saw action in nine games, where he posted nine strikeouts in 11 innings of work
- In his second season, he made 19 appearances out of the bullpen striking out 43 batters in 35.6 innings while only walking 11 batters.Â

- Garrett was chosen as the team MVP during his senior season with a .449 and a .589 on-base percentage, while posting a 3.38 ERA and striking out 69 hitters in 39.3 innings.
- For his junior season, he posted a 0.00 ERA with 11 strikeouts at Clovis HS where he was ranked fourth in the New Mexico by MaxPreps.Â

- Collegiate athletics are nothing new to the Langrell family as his dad (Robert) played baseball at St. Louis University, his brother (Connor) played baseball at Bradley University, his mom (Tina) played basketball at Grand Canyon College, his sister (Megan) played soccer at Trinity Christian College, and his other sister (Caitlin) played volleyball at Columbia College.
